Every year the alliance franciase de Katmandou organizes "Music Day" in Nepal. In the past three years the alliance has developled the event by holding two seperate concerts in the valley on June 21st. A rock event at Kathmandu and a classical Nepalese concert at Patan’s Durbar Square. Many come to attend each, three to five thousand people.
